Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented project manager who will manage the construction of high-end custom homes on time, within budget and to our high-quality standards.


  • Create and manage project budgets and schedules
  • Create detailed scope documents
  • Request bids from subcontractors and review with owners
  • Review plans to identify opportunities for value engineering and quality improvement
  • Supervise work on site
  • Hold all subcontractors responsible for daily cleanup and safe working conditions
  • Submit daily project logs
  • Inspect work before subcontractors are paid
  • Manage subcontractor change orders and obtain approval from owners
  • Create and manage punch list
  • Manage warranty work
  • Source and qualify new subcontractor relationships


Desired Profile
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing high-end residential construction
  • Must be able to pass Contractors State License Board exam or currently have a California contractor’ s license and serve as the responsible managing employee
  • Construction management degree is a plus but not required
  • Experience to include budgeting, scheduling, development of scopes, and field supervision
  • Experience bidding, negotiating, and preparing vendor contracts
  • Proficient at reading plans and specifications
  • Knowledgeable of California Building Code
  • Ability to control the jobsite and manage subcontractors
  • Understands trades and best installation practices
  • Understands jobsite safety standards
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Experience using spreadsheet, word processing and project management software
