Position: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our San Francisco office and work on world class design projects with a leading MEP design firm in the architectural engineering consulting industry.  We are looking for a technically proficient engineer with leadership qualities and project management experience on projects.  The ideal candidate will have  a passion for architecture and engineering related to the design and construction of highly sustainable, high performance innovative, and iconic buildings. 

Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize mechanical HVAC systems and communicate design options to stakeholders
  • Develop high quality mechanical HVAC system construction documents
  • Develop building automation system (BAS) controls and sequences of operation
  • Prepare mechanical technical specifications
  • Complete projects profitably and on schedule
  • Develop new client relationships
  • Present to clients, staff and at industry events
  • Provide mentorship, training and development for staff
  • Project quality control

Key Competencies & Skills:
  • Inspire and motivate staff
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit
  • Engineering calculation and performance simulation software

  • Bachelor' s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
  • 5+ Years' Experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • LEED Accreditation
