Our client, a premier construction management and engineering firm with offices throughout California, has an immediate need to hire a Project Manager/P.E. to join the dynamic Design & Engineering team in the San Diego office. In this position, you will work with cities, counties and other public sector clients to develop creative, sustainable solutions. We offer a dynamic, progressive environment that requires adaptability, energy and continued collaboration with everyone in the organization.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Providing technical oversight and review of project activities
  • Managing staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating of projects
  • Leading business development efforts
  • Coordinating pursuit planning
  • Maintaining contract management throughout the project

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California
  • At least 8 years of experience with progressive responsibilities in civil or mechanical engineering
  • Successful track record in managing and completing water/wastewater engineering projects in California
  • Experience with project delivery for the City and County of San Diego
  • Design of pump stations, water production wells and reservoirs facilities
  • Experience in providing direct supervision of engineers and designers
  • Experience in writing technical specifications, preparation of engineer' s estimates, project scheduling and proposal writing
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with master planning, hydraulic modeling, AutoCAD, and Microstation, preferred
